Rome, Italy - 13th March 2006 -- KoanLogic announces the release of
KLone-DevKit, a complete web application development framework targeted
especially for embedded systems and appliances.
KLone-DevKit is based on KLone, a set of very stable and feature-rich web
components which are embeddable and minimal size-wise, making it ideal for
usage on small devices.
The KLone-DevKit framework was thought and designed with a learn-by-example
paradigm in mind. The developer is guided through the creation and release
of his/her own KLone application via a range of real use case examples.
KLone-DevKit includes the following components:
- GNU/make based environment to automate the following procedures:
- (cross) compilation,
- runtime control, and
- packaging and application release
- A set of real-world sample applications:
- an AJAX based tester for the FOX/Axis board [here]
- a document store and search engine [here]
- a TSP (rfc3161) frontend [here]
- a client authenticator
- A sandbox application to start playing around
- Full documentation
KLone-DevKit is open-source software.
