Linuxcare to Provide Amdahl With Backline Support, Professional Services
and Training

Amdahl Secures Linuxcare Expertise for its Enterprise Linux Market Initiative
SAN FRANCISCO, December 14, 1999-Linuxcare, Inc., a premier vendor of Linux
technical services to the enterprise, today announced an agreement with
Amdahl to deliver key services and support to Amdahl's enterprise Linux
customers and technical staff. The announcement comes on the heels of
Amdahl's announcement of global, mission-critical, enterprise support for
Linux.
Linuxcare's Technical Support Business Unit will provide backline support
to top-level Amdahl customer-service engineers. Linuxcare's Professional
Services Business Unit will provide a range of consulting services to
Amdahl, and the Linuxcare University Business Unit will offer on-site
training to Amdahl technical staff.
