AUSTIN , TX --January 29, 2005-- Win4Lin, Inc. today announced the release of Win4Lin HomeTM, a lightweight version of the company's award-winning flagship Win4Lin 5 product that allows Windows applications to operate on Linux-based desktop computers. Win4Lin Home is targeted at individual users who need to run a small number of Windows applications on Linux or for customers with limited budgets needing multiple copies of the product.

Win4Lin Home will allow users to run their favorite Windows applications on the Linux operating system in the fastest Windows 95/98/ME environment available for Linux. Users can have all the advantages of running both Windows and Linux simultaneously.

The Win4Lin desktop product-line enables Linux users to run Windows programs concurrently with their existing Linux applications without additional hardware or the need to dual boot. Win4Lin Home dramatically improves productivity and saves users expense by reducing hardware and OS license upgrade costs.

Win4Lin, Inc. also announced that the company had acquired the assets and staff of NeTraverse, Inc, the former developer of the Win4Lin product line.
