Dave Whitinger announces LinSight

Powerful, artificially intelligent network of websites will provide world-class service to the Linux community.
For Immediate Release:
Linux Business Expo, Las Vegas, NV - Dave Whitinger, co-founder of Linux Today, announces this week his plans to build an information resource for the Linux community. He is currently developing a team of strong visionaries and developers to produce a complete solution for Linux users who are looking for information about the operating system and accompanying software.
The team:
Elton Wells: Elton has left his position as Program Manager of Developer Tools at Microsoft to join LinSight. He brings years of Linux experience, and will be responsible for the development of LinSight. His abilities to create and execute unique ideas will allow LinSight to become the intelligent resource that the community needs.
Fred Palmer: Fred joins the team with years of testing and coding experience, and will be providing testing, development assistance, content creation, and community relations.
Dave Whitinger: Co-founder of Linux Today, Dave has recently turned over the site to Dwight Johnson and internet.com. Dave brings a vast array of experience to the LinSight table, and will be providing direction and assistance to Elton and Fred.
Other team members are planned, but no announcement can be made until these personnel acquisitions are finalized.
What is LinSight?: LinSight will be an information resource for the community, targeting a wide variety of user-bases, but specifically entering the mainstream market of users who are only now entering the community. Planned projects:

- Resource for Linux Users Groups
- Calendar of Events
- Software repository
- Resource for Linux Developer
- Linux search engine and portal
- Linux training portal (produced with the assistance of Dan York of LPI)
- Linux community site
- LinSight
LinSight will be the site who brings this network of sites together, providing a strong core with intelligence to understand the needs and desires of the reader of the site. The more a reader visits the site, the more LinSight understands who this person is and what kind of content he may be interested in.
