Based on embedded Linux technology, Beijing Co-Creator Open Source Software Co., Ltd has developed CCOffice.

Based on embedded Linux technology, Beijing Co-Creator Open Source Software Co., Ltd has developed CCOffice. It is the first complete embedded Linux-based office suite in China compatible with MS office file formats. Offering various office functions, CCOffice is an ideal office suite for such embedded devices as PDA, STB and thin clients.

The system is composed of CCWord, word processor; CCExcel, spreadsheet processor; as well as CCPdf, Pdf file reader.

Compatible with MS office file formats, including Word97, Word2000, WordXP, Excel97 and Excel2000, supports to the largest extent the most frequently-used functions and operating practices.

Small foot print, less than 1.5 M.

Being layered and modular in design, it is portable and extensible, which helps CCOffice support embedded Linux GUIs like Microwindows, Tiny-X, Qt/Embedded. It can process with Word, Excel, Rtf, Html, Text and other forms of files.

Multi-language choice for user interface, which is simplified and friendly to use.

Multi-language support, including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, etc, supports Chinese GB2312, Unicode, compatible with I18N.

It has built in various Chinese input methods, and supports Chinese lattice fonts and vector fonts like TTF, Type l.

CCWord

Supports opening and viewing of various kinds of file formats such as Word95, Word97, WordXP, Word2000, HTML RTF txt. Supports exporting MSWord format file to RTF format file and edition of RTF and plain Text files.

Provides tool bar, status bar, horizontal and vertical scroll bars.

Offers page navigation function, like going to next page, previous page, the last page, the first page, or a specified page.

Supports insertion of pictures.

Supports insertion of tables.

Supports multiple fonts and font sizes.

Supports font foreground and background color.

Supports different alignments: middle, left, right.

Supports item symbols and serial numbers.

Supports special symbols.

Supports automatic indent.

Offers search function.

View zoom out/in.

Supports new-line and new-page symbols.

CCExcel

Supports opening and viewing of file formats of Excel95, Excel97, Excel2000. Supports exporting MS Excel format file to formatted Text files.

Supports multiple worksheets display.
