SAN FRANCISCO, September 28, 1999-Linuxcare, Inc., the first company to offer comprehensive Linux technical services to the Global 1000, announced today the appointment of Douglas C. "Linuxcare has built the world's leading team of Linux and Open Source technology experts, and has fostered a unique company culture they thrive in," said Fernand Sarrat, president and CEO of Linuxcare. "We're excited that Doug has joined Linuxcare to help us build the world's best technology infrastructure for scalable delivery of customer services for Linux and Open Source software."

In his previous position, Nassaur was responsible for the architecture, development, and implementation of E*Trade's award-winning global financial services network.
