New version of Linux by Libranet

New Linux by Libranet release brings significant improvements to it's popular linux distribution.
NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, February 18, 2000 - Libra Computer Systems, producer of the 'Linux by Libranet' distribution, today announced
the release of version 1.2 of the popular 'LINUX BY LIBRANET' distribution.
Linux by Libranet is based on the world acclaimed Linux release by Debian. The Libranet Linux distribution packages the most commonly used applications onto an easy to install CD. This CD installs over 1GB
of top rated software including industry standards such as the Netscape communications suite.
The new version includes an improved install process, better support for printers and laptops and a collection of new applications. The kernel, Gnome and KDE as well as many other applications have been brought up to date. There are significant improvements in desktop ease of use.

Libranet Linux may be used on any standard PC, and will
co-exist with Microsoft Windows.

Periodic software upgrades are available free to download,
