LinuxPorts.Com: Announces second Open Source Book.
  Jan 31st, 16:05 UTC

LinuxPorts.Com, has finished the editing and compilation of their second Open Source Book.

Administering Linux: The Basics, brings the foundation of using and administering Linux to the end user. It includes information on installing, configuring and running Linux. It also includes brief sections on the basics of the Internet, Networking and e-mail.

As always a portion of the gross profits will be going back to an Open Source project. The project receiving these donations has not yet been decided and will be decided by vote of the Linux Documentation project authors.

This book contains a great deal of LDP information and therefore we felt it only fair that the authors that are published in this book get to vote on which project the funds will go to.
