MailScanner, the world's most popular open source anti-spam gateway software, has just gotten a lot easier to install and maintain with the release of Fort Systems Ltd. (FSL) MailScanner Gold rpms.

The time required to install and integrate MailScanner, SpamAssassin, ClamAV anti-virus, Razor, Bayes filtering has now been reduced from hours to minutes. And the skill level required has been lowered linux "Guru" to Linux "newbie".

"By using our repository, MailScanner is now the simplest, least expensive and easiest way to maintain an Open Source Antispam gateway." states Steve Swaney, CEO of FSL.

"This is all made possible by the FSL repository system. Now all of the 70+ applications and perl modules required to install and maintain a powerful open source antispam gateway are available as an integrated and cohesive set of rpm packages."

By using our repository system, administration of your MailScanner server will be greatly reduced. No needs to monitor, download, install and test new packages anymore. It's all handled by us now. You will save time whether you have a single server or multiple gateways.

"This repository is going to make the administrator's work load reduced significantly" says Steve Swaney.

"The admin no longer needs to keep monitoring, downloading, compiling and troubleshooting his system every time a new version is released. The time savings will be very significant."

Access to the repository can be obtained by purchasing a per server subscription basis. You can purchase subscriptions on a yearly or quarterly basis.

Subscription costs are $50 US for the first gateway and $35 US for each additional gateway.

Supported Operating Systems include Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and CentOS 5.x

The repository has been designed to eliminate conflicts between the operating system version and the application versions.

The Operating system and applications can now be safely and independently updated.
