ActiveState Announces Support for Oracle Enterprise Linux

ActiveState Joins Oracle PartnerNetwork

Vancouver, BC, April 29, 2008--ActiveState today announced support for ActiveState products on Oracle® Enterprise Linux, a key component of the Oracle Unbreakable Linux support program. ActiveState products including ActiveTcl, ActivePerl, ActivePython, Perl Dev Kit, Tcl Dev Kit, Komodo IDE and Komodo Edit have been tested by ActiveState for compatibility with Oracle Enterprise Linux. Oracle customers can leverage the ActiveState team's expertise and get full support for developing and deploying applications running on Oracle Enterprise Linux-based systems.

ActiveState's expert technical support and development team provide unmatched premium maintained pre-compiled builds for open source languages including Perl, Python and Tcl that run on Oracle Enterprise Linux.

This announcement coincides with ActiveState joining the Oracle PartnerNetwork, solidifying the relationship to provide customers of Oracle the high-quality products and support they count on.
